My name is Becky, and I am a bisexual, poly, pagan, geek, submissive, married mother of two.

That's a lot of labels, and they still don't tell you a damn thing about me. Labels are funny that way: Sort of useful, except not really.

My youngest son is autistic. We have a (not so) small zoo. I've been involved in animal rescue for most of my life. I've been married for ten years. I'm a huge sci-fi geek. I'm opinionated, avoidant, and passionate. I'm intolerant of intolerance. I'm an insomniac. I love music that makes other people cringe. I play several instruments. I sing. I dance.

Respect is important to me and I guard my space and my friends ferociously. If you can't handle diversity, you don't belong here. If you bring disrespect to my journal, you're not staying here. It's as simple as that. Disagreement, debate, and alternate views are more than welcome. Treating other people badly is not.

This journal is me. That means whining and navel gazing and a lot of really boring stuff, amongst discussions about sex, politics, and religion and really strong opinions.
